Hand in hand with the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) and the Spanish Ministry of Defense, the Spanish Youth Atlantic Treaty Association (COAJE) has been contributing, since 2014, to the dissemination of the defense culture among Spanish Youth through its initiatives, debates
and events in the national and international arena.
Our logo takes its symbology both from both the Spanish and NATO flags. Starting on the exterior, we can see two columns taken from the Spanish Flag and which represent Hercules columns, mythologically located on the Gibraltar Strait and which were thought to be the end of the known world. But as we know, there was much more world to discover, Plus Ultra, and it only takes a group of brave individuals to map it. If draw our eyes to the inside we find the Spanish flag protecting, circulating the compass rose that will direct us, allies towards the path of peace through our common Atlantic pact. In COAJE, we are proud of our roots and strive to represent NATO´s values.
A few years back, we decided to rejuvenate our symbol to better reflect our character.
